Overview
As a Board Member, you will play a crucial role in guiding the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce to fulfill its mission. From supporting financial viability to actively participating in decision-making, your commitment will directly impact the success of our community. This is an opportunity to be a community leader, promote business, education, and economic development, and build lasting connections.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Chamber’s initiatives and programs.
• Actively participate in board meetings, discussions, and decision-making processes.
• Advocate for the interests of local businesses and contribute to the development of policies that support economic growth.
• Collaborate with fellow board members, Chamber staff, and community stakeholders to drive the Chamber’s mission forward.
• Engage in fundraising activities to support the financial sustainability of the Chamber.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce’s history, mission, and goals.
• Demonstrates leadership experience in business, community development, or related fields.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and contribute innovative ideas.
• Willingness to actively participate in board meetings and Chamber events.
• Ability to handle Chamber business with tact, enthusiasm, and commitment,

Terms of Service
Members of the Board of Directors are elected for 3-year terms, with the possibility of re-election according to the bylaws.
